A Beautiful De-Stash

I have a lot of yarn.  Like … a lot, a lot.  To the point of I’ve no where to store it where I currently live.  So I’ve decided to do a few projects that will de-stash what I have.  Perusing Ravelry and finding patterns to help.  I found a GORGEOUS blanket pattern, a super scarf pattern, a gaming dice bag pattern and a dress pattern.  These should help me de-stash and have some pretties at the same time.

I want to have the super scarf, and the dress done in time for my Philly Fibre Crawl, and the blanket can be made (hopefully) in between these projects.  The dice bag will be made and brought with me (with dice in it, of course) to Philly for when I play D&D with some friends.  That, and I really need a nice dice bag.

I think another thing I should work on this year, is a craft journal.  It started out as a crochet journal, but because I do all things fibre related, I’m going to expand on it.

So, that’s it for now.  Time to organize these projects and get to work!

The Journey Begins

Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

Over the past few years, I’ve had a desire to blog, to create and to show.  With this year, being the year of Create.  It’s time.

Welcome to The Threaded Faerie.

Within this blog, you will find a passion for fibre arts – in most of its forms, jewellery making, and my own special brand of Weird.
